Freetour del Barrio Raval
♡ Save

Explore El Raval, Barcelona's most mystical neighborhood. Discover the old "Chinatown" with a unique tour between contemporary art, Modernism and dark legends. An authentic journey between past and mystery that will leave you breathless.
We will start at Plaça Catalunya 17, right in front of the Bank of Spain. We will first visit Carrer dels Tallers, and then venture to the most modern part of the neighborhood: Plaça dels Àngels with its Museum of Contemporary Art (MACBA), where we will also admire some of the most important street art in the area. We will continue through the hidden streets, sharing fascinating stories and legends, such as that of the Raval Vampire or the Boqueria Market. We will then admire the building that once housed the historic city hospital, before arriving at Botero's "Cat," a work by the great Colombian artist and a symbol of the neighborhood, on the Rambla del Raval. We will end the tour with a visit to the Teatro Liceu and to one of Antoni Gaudí's greatest masterpieces in the city: the Palau Güell. We will say goodbye in Plaça Reial.
