Bratislava Free Tour: World War Two and Communism

Listen to the history of Slovakia exploring Bratislava's major sites on this engaging free tour. You'll find out about the tough period of Nazism and Communism too.

Sad and Long tour! It is a free walking tour with just certified professional guides, who cover the crazy roller-coaster, which we experienced in the 20th century. We will discuss the end of World War 2, the coup by the communist party, the crimes that both of these regimes did, and we will see what they left behind. The upside down pyramid, one of the ugliest buildings in the world, the crazy squares of our Uprising (Former Stalin Square), Gottwald (1st communist president). We also visit the last standing synagogue and much more.

Groups over 8 are not accepted on our tours, as we to make our tours enjoyable for everyone. If you are a large group, please contact us.
