Recoleta Free Tour: Treasures of History, Art, and Architecture

Join this tour of Recoleta and discover one of the most elegant neighborhoods in Buenos Aires! Between art, history, and architecture, we will explore its charming corners and secrets that will surprise you.

Hi, I’m Agustín, a geographer who graduated from the University of Buenos Aires, who loves his city and wants to share it with the world. I’m passionate about travel, and I firmly believe that the best way to immerse yourself in a new destination is by walking alongside the locals.

Known primarily for its French architecture and famous cemetery, Recoleta has much more to offer. From its aristocratic palaces to Brutalist buildings and even contemporary art in the streets. On this tour, you’ll explore the past and present of this iconic neighborhood and the stories behind its development.

Some highlights include: National Library Law School (University of Buenos Aires) Floralis Genérica National Museum of Fine Arts Plaza Francia Iglesia del Pilar and Recoleta Cemetery*. Mansions on Alvear Street Plazoleta Carlos Pellegrini. IMPORTANT INFORMATION: *Does not include a tour inside the cemetery. Please book only if you are certain you will attend; last-minute cancellations or no-shows prevent other visitors from taking the spots you leave vacant and cause scheduling difficulties for us. Thank you very much.
