Uncover the vibrant charm of Belén Market on an immersive tour! Stroll bustling stalls, wander through authentic historic neighborhoods, and admire unique floating houses up close. Book your ultimate local experience today!
We will take a walking tour from Iquitos Boulevard to Belén Market.
Itinerary: 1. Along the way, we will see historic houses from the rubber boom era. 2. At the market, we’ll see local produce on sale. 3. We’ll learn a little about medicinal plants in Pasaje Paquito. 4. To round off the tour, we’ll take a canoe trip past the houseboats; if you’d like, guided tours are available in English and Spanish.
The tour lasts approximately 2 to 3 hours. I recommend bringing some small change if you’d like to buy fruit or try some Amazonian drinks.
Note: It’s currently summer (holiday season), so there are few houseboats on the river, and the canoe trip costs 20 soles.
