Free Food Tour of Lima: Central Market, Chinatown, and Peruvian Flavors

Discover the authentic flavors of Lima! Enjoy an unforgettable culinary tour of Chinatown and the Central Market to sample the best Peruvian cuisine. We accept voluntary donations. Book today!

The experience begins in front of La Merced Church, right in the heart of Lima’s Historic Center. From there, you’ll walk with your guide to the Central Market, one of the most authentic places to discover the aromas, colors, and ingredients that make up Peruvian cuisine.

Amid exotic fruits, herbs, chili peppers, and traditional products, you’ll learn their stories and enjoy small tastings based on your preferences. We’ll then continue to Chinatown, where you’ll discover how Asian immigration transformed Lima’s cuisine and gave rise to the famous chifa, a unique fusion of Peruvian and Chinese flavors.

The tour ends with time to explore the surrounding area or do some local shopping. Drinks are not included; we recommend budgeting between S/30 and S/40 per person. At the end of the tour, you may voluntarily tip the guide based on your experience. Optional tip: based on your satisfaction with the service.
