Free Night Tour of Lima: History, Squares, and Traditional Flavors

Explore Lima at night on a magical tour of its Historic Center. Stroll through illuminated squares and unique spots, and savor the city’s finest traditional cuisine. At the end of the tour, you can show your appreciation for the guide with a tip.

The experience begins at the Gran Hotel Bolívar, where you’ll learn about part of its history and tour its main areas. You’ll then continue on to Plaza San Martín, which is illuminated at night and surrounded by historic architecture.

You’ll walk along Jirón de la Unión until you reach Lima’s Plaza Mayor, where you can admire the exterior of the Cathedral, the Government Palace, and the Archbishop’s Palace. Afterward, you’ll visit the Chabuca Granda cultural space, the perfect spot to enjoy the nightlife and sample traditional desserts on your own.

The tour continues to the historic Bar Cordano and ends in front of the Convent of San Francisco, where you’ll learn about its colonial significance from the outside. All drinks and food are optional and not included. At the end, you may voluntarily show your appreciation for the guide’s work with a contribution.

The experience concludes with a delicious tasting of pisco and Pisco Sour. This tour operates on a tip-based system: at the end, each participant is free to decide how much to contribute based on their experience. The suggested tip is S/ 50 or USD 15 per person, in recognition of our guide’s service and dedication.
