A Tour to Discover Ljubljana
A tour of Ljubljana that combines a visit to the historic district—where we’ll learn about the city’s history and hear legends of dragons and beautiful maidens—with a chance to discover traditional products from Ljubljana and all of Slovenia.
We’ll start in front of Ljubljana City Hall and, following a pleasant walking route, visit some of the city’s main historic sites, such as Prešeren Square and Congress Square.
Along the way, we’ll pass by the city’s main bridges and admire the stunning Fountain of the Three Rivers, created by the Italian sculptor Francesco Robba. But I won’t reveal everything right away—I’ll share its story and many other interesting facts with you during the tour!
Along the way, you’ll also have the chance to sample a traditional Slovenian liqueur and a few other local specialties.
We’ll wrap up the tour by visiting two of Ljubljana’s gems: the lively central market and the splendid Baroque St. Nicholas Cathedral.
