Free Tour of the Old City of London

On this tour, we’ll walk through the heart of the City of London.

We’ll start by the Thames, where we’ll discover why the Romans chose this area to found Londinium and how the river was instrumental in London’s rise to become one of Europe’s most important cities.

We’ll continue on to The Monument, where we’ll learn about the history of the Great Fire of London in 1666, one of the great tragedies that forever transformed the city.

Then we’ll head into the City to explore Leadenhall Market, one of London’s most beautiful historic markets, and learn how trade turned this small part of the city into a true center of power.

Our tour will continue to the Bank of England and the Royal Exchange, where we’ll learn how London evolved from an important trading port into one of the world’s financial capitals.

Finally, we’ll arrive at St. Paul’s Cathedral, a masterpiece by Christopher Wren and one of London’s greatest landmarks. There, we’ll conclude our journey through more than 2,000 years of history, from Roman London to the modern City of skyscrapers.
