We’ll start in the city’s historic center, at the Palacio de Bellas Artes, considered Mexico City’s most important cultural venue. We’ll head to the Post Office and Madero Street, where you’ll learn about their history and the highlights of the buildings located here, such as the Casa de los Azulejos and a former Franciscan convent, among others.
Next, we’ll visit the Zócalo, where we’ll admire the National Palace and the Metropolitan Cathedral of Mexico City—two of the most important examples of Spanish-American architecture and UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Afterward, we’ll head to the Templo Mayor to view the ruins from the outside.
Finally, we’ll visit the Torre Latinoamericana, the first 44-story building inspired by New York’s Empire State Building, which features an observation deck on the top floor from which you can enjoy the best views of the city.
