Hello food lovers! Want to experience Palermo's authentic street food at a local restaurant? We've got you covered! Join us for a relaxing and intriguing exploration of the best street food selections of the day. The gastronomic adventure takes place in the city center, in the old port area of La Cala-Vucciria market, Kalsa. We'll take you to our favorite food vendors, mostly run by the same families for decades.
We'll share stories behind each dish and the secrets of our mothers' recipes. We'll share the history of Palermo through its food, from the herbs brought by the Arabs to the rich dishes introduced by the Spanish. You'll taste real Sicilian street food and drinks: Arancini, Panelle, Crocchè, Pani ca' meusa, Cannoli and other bites unknown to tourists.
Food Notes: Vegetarian/pescatarian options are available at most locations. Not suitable for vegans or gluten/dairy-sensitive travelers. Food and drinks are at your own expense. You will pay the vendor directly on-site. Most vendors accept credit cards, but we suggest bringing some cash to tip your guide.
