Free Tour of Rome: Trevi Fountain, Pantheon, Piazza Navona & Vatican

Discover Rome on this tour through the heart of the Eternal City, from the stunning Trevi Fountain to the majestic St. Peter's Square. More than just visiting monuments, you'll learn to interpret the city's history and secrets.

On this Free Tour, we’ll explore the heart of the Eternal City, from the spectacular Trevi Fountain to the majestic St. Peter’s Square in the Vatican. But it won’t just be a stroll among monuments: we’ll learn to read Rome, to discover the traces that emperors, artists, architects, and popes left in every corner.

How did a pagan temple become a Christian church? Why do we find Roman columns incorporated into modern buildings? What remains of ancient Rome’s grand structures beneath our streets?

We’ll discover the answers as we explore the Pantheon, the ruins of the Baths of Nero, Piazza Navona, and Borromini’s extraordinary architecture. We’ll walk along the historic Via dei Coronari, following in the footsteps of the pilgrims who made their way to St. Peter’s for centuries.

In front of the imposing Castel Sant’Angelo, we’ll discover how an imperial mausoleum eventually became a papal fortress, before arriving at the Vatican, where our journey through Rome’s history culminates.

Every monument is a page of history. Every street is a clue. And Rome is an open book that we’ll learn to interpret.
