Join this exciting two-hour tour through the center-south of Santiago. Discover the majesty of its ancient architecture, explore emblematic neighborhoods and connect with the rich history and local culture, an experience not to be missed!
Hello! I’m Camila Rodríguez, a geographer and heritage enthusiast. I invite you to explore the city of Santiago with me from a historical and cultural perspective, taking in buildings, places, and details that are often overlooked when touring our capital.
We’ll start this tour at the San Francisco Church and Museum, then continue our journey through the París-Londres neighborhood. We’ll proceed by discussing the cultural and political significance of buildings such as the University of Chile’s main building, Club La Unión, and Banco Estado, passing through the picturesque Paseo Bandera. The walk will continue along Paseo Bulnes, across from La Moneda, as we discuss its history and the architectural details of its buildings.
Finally, we’ll end our tour in the Almagro Park area, home to the imposing Church of the Sacramentinos, the book fair, and the iconic Juegos Diana, where we’ll conclude our tour by inviting you to explore the neighborhood—with direct access to the metro station.
