Stockholm Old Town Free Tour

We will meet at Skeppsbron, and, before I show you the Old Town, I will point out and tell some interesting facts about places visible on the nearby island of Södermalm (also worth a visit). The focus, however, will be on the Old Town, and we will walk the narrow and winding streets and try to understand how life was in the old days. I will provide a historical background and show interesting sights. We will see most of the things worth seeing in the Old Town.

I will also give you facts about Stockholm in general, and throughout the tour I will show old photos and pictures that might give a better understanding and improve the experience.

At the end of the tour, I will point out some other interesting buildings nearby the Old Town. The tour will end at Norrbro, next to the Old Town, and from there you have a good view of Stockholm and the Royal Castle.

We will not be a huge group (maximum 15 adults and usually a lot fewer) as I prefer a more personal tour, so there will be time for questions and maybe some chit-chat. Hopefully, we will have a good time, and you will learn a thing or two. I am a local, and I love showing people my hometown, Stockholm, so I hope to see you soon.
