The Ten Most Beautiful Corners of Cáceres
♡ Save

Join this route through the 10 most beautiful corners of Cáceres and discover both its essential places and hidden gems that will surprise you at every step.
It is a visit that you do not expect, as it integrates all the stages of history: we will cross Roman gates, walk through the Almohad wall, visit medieval palaces, know the Jewish quarter, the pilgrimage route, the military orders and the most relevant history until the XXI century.
We depart from the majestic Plaza Mayor, the vibrant heart of the city, to enter the elegant Gran Vía street. From there we reach the quiet Plaza de San Juan and continue along the historic Pizarro Street to the secluded Plaza de las Claras. We cross the South Gate and stroll along the picturesque Pereros Street, arriving at the evocative Olivar de la Judería. We get lost in the Callejón del Moral, cross the East Gate and walk along the Calle del Cristo.
Between shadows and whispers we pass through the Callejón de la Amargura, emerging in the monumental Plaza de Santa María. We advance along Tiendas Street towards the Puerta Norte, descend the Cuesta del Maestre and stop at the Plaza de Santiago and the Plaza de la Audiencia. We return along Muñoz Chaves Street, closing the circle in the incomparable Plaza Mayor.
