Budapest in Winter: Cold-Weather Guide and 3-Day Plan
Budapest in winter is exceptionally rewarding for travellers who appreciate outdoor thermal baths in freezing weather, lower accommodation rates, and classic seasonal markets. Although days are short and temperatures regularly hover around freezing, the city's grand architecture, world-renowned indoor bathhouses, and hearty comfort food make it well worth a trip between December and February.
